JOB SUMMARY
Foster Home Recruiter is responsible for recruitment of respite and foster families, for training
and of foster parents and making recommendations to program team regarding families.
REQUIREMENTS
Develop and implement written recruitment plan including goals and objectives.
Cultivate positive relationships with relevant funding and monitoring entities, faith based
organizations, social service providers, and other community partners. Participate in
appropriate community collaborations.
Facilitate and manage Foster Family application process and orientation.
Develop, prepare and coordinate all pre-service training for foster family applicants.
Provide evaluations and recommendations to multi-disciplinary team, regarding
appropriateness of families for the program.
Develop and maintain marketing materials for program; distribute according to
recruitment plan
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Social Work or related field and three
years of experience in social services or a combination of education and experience.
Experience working with children and families.
Bilingual skills in a common client language are preferred but not required.
WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Typical work hours will be regular business hours between the times of 7:30-6:00pm (as chosen
by the staff); however, will also include some evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
