    Students will create abstract paintings based on emotions they have experienced. They will reflect on a past emotion and identify colors associated with that feeling. Using those colors, students will compose an abstract painting on canvas that conveys the chosen emotion in a non-representational way. They will be graded on effectively using color and composition to reflect an emotion without depicting a literal scene. Students must also properly clean their workspaces and materials.
