OBJECTIVE
I am applying for a position as a elementary or secondary school teacher. My focus is mainly in schools with a wide range
of ethnic diversity to utilize my bilingual and psychological skills; in addition, I want to be benefitted with a new knowledge
of cultures with this new position. Another factor in this position is that I do not have a high standard for my wages that I
should receive. If I should be a secondary school teacher I would teach for English or Psychology since I am well educated
in those areas of study; furthermore, for elementary I have a robust knowledge of mathematics, literature, history, and
science.

SUMMARY
I have obtained a Masters degree in Psychology and Elementary Education and Teaching at UC Davis. I am bilingual, I
speak Spanish and English fluently, and I have a passion for preserving the cultural heritage and encompassing students
with knowledge. I can also communicate concisely and easily with others; furthermore, I can easily apply learning
strategies and behaviors to students to easily acknowledge their needs and aid them further.

EXPERIENCE

I utilized solid organization, communication, and writing skills at Tri Valley Academy to tutor students after school;
furthermore I participated in their summer program that assured me of my dedication and passion of children and teaching.
This allowed me to participate and create ideas for activities and respect distinct learning abilities.
Accomplishments

I learned how to see methods to help students in need and how to identify them.
I improved my communication skills and how to make my remarks more concise.
It improved my independent skills and how to work as a group.

Summer Camp Intern, Galileo Learning


Oakland, CA 2021
I served as an office assistant, lesson helper, game leader, skit planner, all as an intern. In Galileo Learning they teach
children through collective and collaborations with several activities. I helped other students to reflect and I energized
others with energy during the summer camp.
Accomplishments

I gained the skill of multi-tasking more efficiently.


I taught more than what was in the textbooks and learned new and creative methods to teach.
I gained an understanding of how to teach better and make it intriguing for children to learn and I raised my standards
of working diligently and arduously.

Counselor and Mental Health Intern, Alternative Family Services

I served children and families throughout the Bay Area. The mental health program is designed to provide children in the
child welfare or juvenile justice system and their families with community based. It is a family-centered, strength-based,
and cultural approach to treatments.
Accomplishments
I learned how to connect better with children and their parents or families.
I again learned patience and had a new cultural aspect.
I increased my understanding of supporting individual people and families.
My organization increased so much more and my note-taking skills increased as well.

My education from Davis is a masters degree in psychology and a Ph.d.in elementary education. I also received a
bachelors degree in sociology and environmental education. One of the awards I have received is the Milken Educator
Award.

SKILLS
I am an advocate of using modern technology and I know how to properly utilize technology and create innovative
assignments for students.

I have a deep passion for helping others and my organizational skills allow me to spend time with each student and
teach everyone correctly.

Im curious so I have a great knowledge in the aspects of many subjects, for example science and history.
My communication skills are exquisite and have been growing tremendously so it has enabled me to utilize new
methods and clarify problems with students.

I am diligent, patient, and humble so I enjoy hearing distinct perspectives and I can easily interact with students who
are having difficulties.

Gregory Herek was a psychology professor, who was a faculty member at Yale, of mine at UC Davis and he would be glad
to inform you about me. He received his Ph.d in Davis in social psychology in 1983 and he has led many studies.
