Romero Britto

Romero Britto was born in

Recife, Brazil in 1963. His
main type of art is pop art. He
was self- taught (also known
as
an
autodidact).
His
techniques or media he uses
in his artwork are watercolor,
pen and ink, serigraphy,
lithography, acrylic and even
finger paint. His most-known
artwork is called A new day.
I discovered that his family
was really poor so thats why
he was self-taught. Some of
his accomplishments are that
he moved to Miami, Florida
and
emerged
as
an
international artist, he got

selected
alongside
Andy
Warhol and Keith Haring for
absolute vodkas Absolut Art
campaign.
I
found
most
interesting
about
Romero
Britto is that he shows his art
in many different events and
shows. Also, his artwork
always has his initials in his
paintings and his paintings
have lots of vibrant colors and
it goes with the actual
drawing.
