‘To Whom I May Concern:
It is indeed an honor and privilege for me to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Maggi Wigmosta. Ms.
‘Wigmosta is currently employed as a teacher at Kea’au Elementary School. She is assigned to our Technology
Coach/Data Specialist position. This position is vital to the continuous improvement efforts of Kea’au
Elementary School. Some of Ms. Wigmosta’s current responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting
monthly classroom observations, cognitive coaching, facilitating weekly professional learning community (PLC)
meeting for all teachers from kindergarten through 5" grade, providing professional development for teachers,
analyzing formative and summative data, developing common formative assessments. Ms. Wigmosta has also
written a complex area-wide math pacing guide for our statewide elementary math curriculum.
‘As the principal of Kea’au Elementary School, | had numerous opportunities to observe Ms. Wigmosta perform
the duties listed above and much, much more. I have witnessed Ms. Wigmosta exhibit exceptional facilitation
skills as she gracefully assisted a grade level work through situations that seemed unresolvable. I have
professionally benefited from Ms, Wigmosta’s ability to simplify the use technological tools such as Google
Drive applications. Most importantly, I had the pleasure of experiencing the heart and passion that Ms. Wigmosta
possesses for the education of our children. Ms. Wigmosta consistently performs her duties at “distinguished”
levels and, as a result, has gained the respect of her fellow teachers.
Ms. Wigmosta will be greatly missed. She is the type of teacher that I wish my daughter had while she was in
elementary school. While at Keaau Elementary School, she certainly provided a quality education to all the
students who passed through her classroom. In addition, as a coach, she has made significant and sustainable
contributions to the continuous improvement efforts of our school.
Ms. Wigmosta will be a great asset to any school as both a teacher and an instructional leader. 1 highly
recommend that she be considered for a position at your school. Please feel free to contact me at (808) 982-4210
if you have any questions or need additional information.
