Dear Judges:
Hello, I am Victoria Riley-LoMedico and I am a senior at St. James High School. My high
school years have been filled with many laughs, tears, and memories. I have had many
experiences during high school that have changed me into who I am now. As graduation
approaches, I am becoming more anxious to start my life and go to college, though I will miss
my friends and this school. My hobbies include reading, working on puzzles, and adventuring. I
am a hard-working, diligent student that strives to do my absolute best on everything I can.
I was motivated to choose topics about the subconscious and the stigma against mental health,
because I am greatly intrigued by psychology. I plan on becoming a clinical psychologist, and
figured these topics could help me one day. During the research phase of the Senior Exploration,
I learned numerous facts that will help me when I pursue my degree in psychology.
Senior Exploration seemed a bit fast-paced to me, but I liked it. It helped me to manage my time
and straighten up my priorities. The obstacles I faced while working on senior project were
having my subconscious topic being abstract and obscure. Another obstacle was finding a service
on mental health stigma. I accomplished every task given to me, turned in on time and complete.
Thank you for participating in the Senior Exploration and sharing your time to listen to my
experiences. I hope you have a wonderful day, filled with interesting topics and new people.

Sincerely,

Victoria Riley-LoMedico
