College Student Personnel Program, Assistant to the Chair, Bowling Green State University, (May 2014 Present)
Sole masters level graduate student working directly with the chair of the Higher Education and Student Affairs
program and faculty serving as a liaison between the faculty, current, and prospective students.
Primary point for contact for all prospective students serving as a representative for the department, answering
all communication around the application process, life as a student at BGSU, and the student affairs profession
Organize and execute all major events within the department including convocation, all HESA retreat, Interview
Days and commencement and hooding ceremony
Coordinate in conjunction with practicum students CSP Interview Days, a multi-day, multi-weekend recruitment
event for prospective students which includes coordinating travel arrangements, organizing hosts,
communicating with supervisors, and scheduling over 600 interviews for prospective students.
Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs Office, Growing Allies Practicum, University of Michigan (August 2014 Present)
Served as a part of a team organizing, creating, executing and evaluating a weekend long social justice ally retreat.
Created a curriculum for the weekend retreat integrating theory, outside resources, and personal knowledge
Developed assessment tools to evaluate effectiveness of the program for both participants and facilitators growth
Co-facilitated with another student and professional staff member all large-group activities within the retreat
and took lead in coordinating this meta-facilitator team.
Office of Residential Life, Graduate Hall Director of Harshman Anderson Bromfield, (July 2013 May 2014)
A 28-hour per week position, responsible for assisting the full-time Hall Director in overseeing the running of residence
hall including: supervising and supporting RA staff, facilities management, advising the Student Desk Manager with
the staffing of the 24-hour front desk, addressing conduct cases, and opening/closing/emergency protocols and
procedures.
Provided support to 20 student RA staff by coordinating in-hall training during RA staff trainings, co-planning/
facilitating weekly RA meetings, directly supervising nine RAs and conducting bi-weekly one-on-one meetings.
Served as direct supervisor to the Student Desk Manager a student leader who is directly responsible for all
matters related to the front deskincluding co-supervising 20+ desk staff and overseeing and assisting with
the hiring, training, and job action meetings with all new desk clerk staff.

ENTREPRENEURIAL WORK
The Safe Zone Project, Co-Founder (Spring 2013 Present)
Co-founder of an online resource (www.thesafezoneproject.com) that offers free, ready-made workshop activities and
curriculum to be used when conducting, planning, or improving ally and LGBTQ awareness trainings. Working to
further student-led LGBTQ/Ally programming and peer-to-peer education on college campus, health care facilities, and
organizations.
Co-developed all resources, including a two-hour Safe Zone workshop curriculum and 15+ detailed instructor and
participant guides for workshop activities available for free for instructors/facilitators use.
Facilitating interactive online Safe Zone workshops for an national audience on a monthly basis
Pride For All, Founder & Executive Director, (Fall 2010 Present)
Founder of an organization (www.prideforall.com) that provides social justice oriented educational programming to
colleges and other socially focused organizations. Focus on creating inclusive environments with specific attention to
gender and sexuality and increasing personal awareness/leadership through self-reflective interactive programs.
Completed successful Indiegogo crowd-funding event, raising $3288 dollars between March 11th April 8th 2013
Hired and supervised one full-time and one part-time summer intern during summer 2013
Responsible for all marketing and development including, website development, creation of newsletters, email
outreach, and brand recognition including development of logo, flyers, brochures, and business cards
Facilitate workshops tailored to the clients needs and interests, created assessments to report changes in
competency, confidence, and awareness as a result of the trainings.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Connect to Protect, Sex Education Subcommittee Member, Boston, MA (November 2012 June 2013)
Volunteer member of C2P, a coalition of community members working together to be a catalyst for prevention
strategies to reduce HIV infection rates among young men who have sex with men/transgender-identified young people
in Boston.
Adirondack Adventure, Leader / Ropes Course Coordinator, Hamilton College (Spring 2008 August 2011)
Leader of pre-orientation trips for first year students at the commencement of each school year. Fostered positive group
dynamics, self-reflection, taught pertinent wilderness skills and developed leadership through experiential education
with first-year college students. Maintained contact and availability to participants throughout the year.
Hamilton Colleges Safe Zone Program, Founder of Safe Zone Program, Hamilton College (Fall 2008 Spring 2011)
Founder of the Hamilton College Safe Zone Program. Developed, organized, and conducted all support tasks for over 30
workshops. Trained 8 student leaders to ensure programs continuation beyond my tenure. Lobbied for/led mandatory
SZs for Hamiltons athletic department, Student Life staff, RA staff (2009-2011), and Greek Life.
Hamilton College Gender Neutral Housing Committee, Student Representative, (Fall 2009 Fall 2010)
Sole student representative working with Residential Life, the director of admissions and dean of students to advocate
and implement the first campus-wide gender neutral housing policy at Hamilton College.
Intercultural Womens Empowerment Series, Director/Member, Hamilton College (August 2008 May 2010)
Director and member of an independently led group of select female students dedicated to exploring the
intersectionality of sexism, racism, classism, heterosexism, and feminism outside of the classroom environment.
Rainbow Alliance, Co-Director (Fall 2009-Spring 2010), Member (Spring 2008 Spring 2011), Hamilton College
Co-Director of the sole LGBTQ organization at Hamilton College. Oversaw budget of $6000 and was responsible for
activities including, but not limited to, weekly meetings, all campus events, and first point of contact for LGBTQ
students.
