Launch:
Todaywearegoingtocollectandanalyzedataaswespinonanonlinespinner.
Onceeveryonegatherstheirdata,wewillcompareandseetheresults.Beforeweget
started,wearegoingtotakealookatafewtermsthatmightbehelpfulfortodayslesson.

Procedure:
Havestudentsmaketheirpredictionsofwhattheythinktheoutcomewillbewhenwe

Splitthestudentsintopairedgroupsandhaveeachgrouprecordtheirresultsusing
highervaluesforeachrunonthespinner.(5,10,20,50,100)Thestudentswillbeableto
seetheirresultsforeachindividualrunontheGizmoapp,theywillthenrecordthose
numbersonapieceofpaperorsomewheretheycanrememberthedata.
Onceeveryonehascollectedtheirdata,havethestudentscomparetheirresultsand
seehowdifferenteachoftheoutcomeswere.Discussasaclass.
