Sets For Each Scene
Parados
For each chorus, the reporters will be on the field, meaning we will need cameramen, and a prep
team to help the reporters. This being said we will need a regular TV crew with industry standard
equipment.
Props Needed
Microphones (Just cardboard and PVC tubing, felt/foam will cover the top of the mic)
TV Cameras (Square cardboard box, cut to the shape of a camera, PVC tubing for the
viewfinder)
Industry Standard Headphones (Thrift store and Christian will provide)
Small Laptop (Danny will provide)
Prologue
For the prologue, the scene is set in a bench outside in a park so this scene will be relatively
simple. Just a bench, and the rest of the set will be empty except for bush.
Props needed:
Fake Greenery (Potted plants bushes - even cardboard ones)
Bench (Two planks spanning 4 wooden supports standing 17)
Chorus 1
This scene is nearly identical to the parados this means we use the same props as before:
Microphones (Just cardboard and PVC tubing, felt/foam will cover the top of the mic)
TV Cameras (Square cardboard box, cut to the shape of a camera, PVC tubing for the
viewfinder)
Industry Standard Headphones (Thrift store and Christian will provide)
Small Laptop (Danny will provide)

Scene 2
This scene is set in the school hallway. This means we will have to have a bench against the wall,
and some backpacks leaning against the bench. We will have some fake doors lining the wall. We
may also reuse the locker row.
Props Needed
Locker Row (made out of cardboard, or plywood)
Assorted backpacks
Bench (Same as park & locker room) (made from wood)
Fake Doors (made out of cardboard)
Chorus 2
Same as before:

viewfinder)

Scene 3
This scene takes place at Tommy & Zachs house, meaning it should be set up like a typical
teenage boys bedroom. (messy and dark) There should be clothing on the floor, and there will be
a bed, dresser, nightstand, and a lamp on top of the dresser. Smaller props on the furniture will be
fastened and secured so that they behave like one object. All the props will be hollowed out and
stripped of everything not to be seen by the audience. This will make them extremely light and
easy for the set crew to carry.
Props Needed
Assorted Clothing (bought at a thrift store)
Lamp (Thrift store)
Bed ( A cot bought at a swap meet/thrift store. If not bought Danny will provide)
Small Dresser (2ft by 4ft by 1ft prism the top will have a lip of 2in. Legs will stand 16in.)
Nightstand (Scratch & Dent section of thrift store, gutted out for weight)

Chorus 3

Same as before:

TV Cameras (Square cardboard box, cut to the shape of a camera, PVC tubing for the
viewfinder)

Scene 4
This scene takes place in the cafeteria, meaning we will need standard public school lunch tables,
but miniaturized. There will be two tables and a couple backpacks on the sides. Some sack
lunches will be on the tables too.
Props Needed
Lunch Tables
(Flat surface 2ft by 4ft by 1in. With two planks standing at 28in fanning out 2ft at the bottom like
an upside down T)
Lunch Trays (These we can buy we only need 2)
Brown bags (Provided by - )
Food (Juice Boxes, Fruit Serving, Sandwich, Etc.)
Chorus 4
Same as before:
Microphones (Just cardboard and PVC tubing, felt/foam will cover the top of the mic)
TV Cameras (Square cardboard box, cut to the shape of a camera, PVC tubing for the
viewfinder)

Scene 5
This scene will be in the school hallway, we will reuse all the props, change the arrangement of
the backpacks to show a passage of time, however most of the set will remain the same.

Locker Rows (Made from a long sheet of plywood no back, just painted to look like lockers. It
will have outrigging for support)
Assorted backpacks
Bench (Same as park & locker room)
Fake doors (made from cardboard)
Chorus 5

This scene takes place at a bus stop. The backdrop will be completely uncovered only a bench,
and a bus stop sign. If its possible we could do the cover over the bus stop too.
