Members of the Teacher Education Program at the College of Southern Idaho seek to gather your perceptions of your
learning upon graduating from the program. We use this document to understand the present and improve our future

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
I am not certain there is any improvement that needs to be made. I have been blown away by the amount of
inspiration, challenge, and care that all the teachers in the Education Department have shown to me. Dont ever stop
trying to make your students into good teachers.

I am working as a teachers aide so my field experience was what I do every day. If I did not like what I do I would
have found another job. Instead, I have chosen to continue from Educational Assistant to becoming a teacher.

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
This class was a mirror of my life. I have a special needs child and I do work with the school to be part of my sons
education. All the material in the class actually helped me see the point of view of the teacher. I already know the
family point of view but not from the school. As a result, I feel that this class has helped me to be a better partner
with the teachers and the rest of my sons IEP team.

All the different theorist were a little confusing. I would concentrate assignments just on one theorist at a time.

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
Technology is fun but I am not sure social media needs to take place of class time. I could use some of the tools in a
class of older children, but not younger than 3 grade.

I completed all the assignments, I trust that the Education Department formed the curriculum according to the ISTE. I
cant remember doing a portfolio, but I did upload a project to my Weebly page.

12. Why did you enroll in the CSI Teacher Education Program?
I starting working as a teachers aide and decided that I could be a better paraeducator if I had a degree.
13. How did you hear about the CSI Teacher Education Program?
Chris Mannen the head teacher at Acorn Learning Center.
14. Your suggestions are valuable to us. How do you suggest that we recruit future students?
I would have an education fair to try and attract paraprofessional to continue their education and become teachers. The
already work in the school system so I think the would be less likely to not complete a program verses others.

Every professor that I have had has truly shown me that they are concerned for my success. The education
department has been very welcoming and genuinely is excited to teach me. Wonderful, wonderful teachers.
