This app will assist students in expanding their vocabulary knowledge which will in turn
increase fluency and word analysis. With an expanded vocabulary students will be able
to read books of a higher lexile level. This app provides a new vocabulary word to learn
each day and provides the definition along with a descriptive cartoon picture depicting
the meaning as well. You can also click on the speaker and a voice will pronounce the
word and read the definition to you. This is extremely helpful if you have no idea how to
properly pronounce the word.

MindSnacks is a fun app that will aid English Language Learners in their quest to learn
the oral and written English Language. This app contains fun games to learn new
English words with. There is a balloon game that has blue and red balloons in equal
number. You have to read the word on the red balloon and find the synonym on the blue
balloon. It will help English language learners expand their vocabulary which is an
important part of the English Language.

This app is useful for learning the skeletal system in an engaging and motivating way.
The app has three sections, the first is a puzzle so students can practice placing the
bones in the correct location on the skeleton. The second section of the app is a quiz to
test the students knowledge and is offered at two different levels. The third section
provides text with basic descriptions of the bones. This app offers a more interesting
way to learn the skeletal system than the traditional lecture and notes format and as a
result it will hold the students interest and encourage learning.

out what cells do with the air we breathe and explore the heart. This is an interesting
and interactive way to learn the human body systems which will capture and retain
students interest.

covers place value, number sense, algebra expressions, multiplication, division, fractions,
decimals, measurement and geometry.
