What is Combined Gas Law?

It is a combination of three other laws such as
Charles Law : states that if a given quantity of gas is held at a
constant pressure, its volume is directly proportional to the
absolute temperature.

Boyle Law: is a gas law, stating that the pressure and volume
of a gas have an inverse relationship, when temperature is held
constant.

Gay lassacs Law: introduces a direct proportionality

between temperature and pressure as long as it is at a
constant volume.

Who invented Combined Gas

Law?
The pressure-temperature law was discovered byJacques
Charlesand Joseph Gay-Lussac, a French scientist.
However, there is no official founder for Combined Gas
Law.

When and where was Combined Gas

Law invented?
Combined Gas Law was invented in 1778-1860.
No place was specifically stated where Combined Gas Law
was discovered but due to the fact that the people who
discovered this type of law are French scientists, one can
infer that Combined Gas Law was discovered in France as
well.

Combined Gas Law formula

Formula explained..
P is the pressure
V is the volume
T is the temperature

Why do we need to learn the

importance of Combined Gas Law?
Basically everything that surrounds us is made up of gas.
It is important to know how gas interacts with other
factors that surround our daily lives. The Combined Gas
Law Formula is the relationship of changing pressure,
temperature, and volume of an ideal gas, which informs us
on the science of gasses.
