Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field experience. What

did you learn about technology facilitation and
leadership from completing this field
experience?

As I met with the teacher, I learned that

finding the appropriate technology to aid in
each teachers unique situation is an
important way to be a leader in the school.
This teacher was looking for ways to be
more engaging and have better classroom
management. Finding an appropriate
technology and modeling its use in the
classroom helped me to learn how to be an
effective leader in the school.
2. How did this learning relate to the
knowledge (what must you know), skills (what
must you be able to do) and dispositions
(attitudes, beliefs, enthusiasm) required of a
technology facilitator or technology leader?
(Refer to the standards you selected in Part I.
Use the language of the PSC standards in your
answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills,
and dispositions.)
As an Instructional Technology Coach, I need to
be familiar with the new ideas and uses of
technology for instruction. I must know the needs
of my faculty. I must familiarize myself with the
skills necessary to troubleshoot any new
technologies that the teachers I also must view
myself as a tool and resource for my faculty. As
an ITS, I believe that I am a resource to help and
train the faculty at my school so that they can
have the most up to date and effective tools at
their disposal in the classroom.
3. Describe how this field experience impacted
school improvement, faculty development or
student learning at your school. How can the
impact be assessed?
This field experience will positively affect my
school because it allowed me to practice my skills
as a teacher of teachers. I plan to use this
experience to further my planning, collaborating,
and training of teachers in the future. Through
these trainings, I hope to make the teachers at my

school more technologically effective and

versatile.
