STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, the students should be able to:
1.) COGNITIVE: Correctly recall the skill cues throwing overhand and underhand with 100 percent accuracy when asked at the end of the lesson
2.) AFFECTIVE: Exhibit safe behavior while throwing and catching by not throwing the equipment at other students unless they are prepared to catch it throughout
the entire lesson.
PSYCHOMOTOR: Demonstrate the proper skill cues of an underhand and overhand throw with 100 percent Accuracy when asked at the closure of the lesson.
TEACHER PERFORMANCE GOALS: During the lesson the teacher will:

Make sure that all of the students are fully engaged throughout the entire lesson.
Give proper feedback to students when the time is appropriate

Meet and Greet
- Teacher will
meet the students
outside the
gymnasium and
introduce
himself as Mr.
Castellano and
have the students
follow him into
the gymnasium.
Introduction
- Introduce

- Go over the
four
boundary
cones that
surround the
activity area
and state to
students that
they have to
stay inside
these four
cones at all
times

Activity
Students will be
separated into two
teams. One player from
each team will stand on
the mat that is on the
other teams side. The
teams will throw and
catch until they have 5
people on the mat, then
the team will receive a
point and run back to
their side of the gym.
The 5th student is now
going to be the student
that stays on the mat
until they get a new
point.
Closure
Once this activity has
finished, The students
will bring in the balls
and put them in the bag
then go and sit down in
their assigned spots.
Once this has happened
I will begin to ask them
questions to see how
well they were listening
during class that day.

Once all the questions


have been asked then the
students will be called
by rows to line up at the
door.
