academic task. The
students have the
opportunity to
purchase items/ breaks
with the dollars. The
students pay a fine
when inappropriate
behavior is displayed.

ELA: Pronouns, Contractions, and Homophones
Spelling: -ance/ -ence Multisyllabic Words

Each group of students will rotate between three centers to


engage in learning activities related to the weekly reading
selections, ELA skill, and spelling word building. The students
will earn incentive dollars for appropriate behavior and
completed work to by a break and/or a snack at the end of
the session.

Assessment will include teacher observation, work completed, formative assessment


during question and answer session, and behavior displayed.
