POISONOUS
- Causes death or harm if absorbed through skin,
swallowed or inhaled.
- Do not taste this substances. Follow the instructions
given to use them.
- Examples: sodium cyanide, benzene, hydrogen

- Burns easily.
- Keep away from fire and heat resources.
- Examples: ethanol, white phosphorus, yellow

- Explodes easily.
- Keep away from fire and heat resources.

and air, diazo, etc

CORROSIVE
- Causes damages to skin and eyes upon contact.
- Handle them in fume chamber.
- Examples: all concentrated acid & alkaline, etc

IRRITANT
- Causes discomfort to the body.
- Handle them in fume chamber and follow the
instruction given.
- Examples: ammonia, chloroform, chlorine, etc

RADIOACTIVE
- Gives out radiation.
- Keep them in lead container. Follow instructions given
to use them.
- Examples: uranium, radium, etc
