Met with Zenon (dietary services supervisor) to get the cart with coffee, tea,
& hot chocolate. Greet and served beverages around the front lobby to
customers, family members, and visitors. Attend to patients that have their
calling light on to ask what they need. When a nurse is needed, I would find
the nurse in charge of the patient or page them.

Started off with getting beverages in the kitchen. Refilled


straws/cups/napkins on the cart. Went to Francisco(supply/inventory
director) to get hand sanitizers for customers and visitors. Greet and serve
beverages to customers. Check up on patients that have their service light on
to see if they need help. Make sure that a nurse attends to the patient within
a timely manner. Making sure customers know where the receptionist is at.
Serve coffee to patients that are allowed to have by asking their charged
nurse. Report to a nurse that a patient needs water. Observe occupational
therapist providing exercises to patients in rehab.
