AUP Offers Scholarships for COM Inaugural Class

AUP is delighted to inform concerned parents and prospective medical students that the
University is offering financial scholarships to qualified Filipino students who will be part of the
inaugural class of the College of Medicine program, which opens in August 2015. These
scholarships are over and above the PhP20,000.00 discount given every semester by the
University to members of Class 2019. The scholarships are categorized as full and partial and
will be awarded to as many deserving students as evaluated & recommended by the
Scholarship Committee formed for that purpose.

In addition to the scholarships from the University, some Adventist hospitals in the Philippines
are willing to grant a 50 % scholarship to a student in exchange for a return service to the
hospital. A scholar of a hospital is qualified to avail an additional 50% or 25% scholarship from
the University. The aforementioned scholarships are only offered to qualified local Filipino
applicants. It shall cover tuition fees and shall be granted to qualified applicants on a first come,
first served basis. However, foreign students under the Southern Asia Pacific Division may avail
of the scholarships that will be provided by Adventist hospitals in their country for a return
service as well.
Interview of applicants is set on May 24, June 21, and if necessary, there will be a last interview
to be arranged in July 2015.
