Biography of authors
Robert Kierkman (Born November 20, 1978) writer best known for

creating the walking dead and invincible for image comics.

Roberts first comic book was the 2000 Superhero parody battle pope.
In 2003 Robert and Cory walker crated invincible.
Shortly after the launch Robert began the walking dead.
Robert is also a editor, letterer, and also a executive producer.

Biography of authors
Tony Moore (Artist) Comic book Artist on Fear agent, the exterminator

and also the walking dead.

Tony Moore in and American comic book author, whose work consists
mainly of genre pieces, most notably in horror and science fiction.
Tony studied drawing, painting, and printmaking at the university of
Louisville while working on Battle pope, though he left the studied
before obtaining his degree to pursue his career as a comic book
illustrator.
But shortly after he made the comic the walking dead with Robert
Kurkman.

Summary of Volume 1
The story/graphic novel begins with deputy sheriff Rick Grimms and his best friend Shane, they are in a

shoot-out with a escaped prisoner on a highway.

Rick gets shot and wakes up from a coma in a hospital.
He starts exploring the place and gets to the elevator but when it opens a corpse falls to the floor coming
out of the elevator, and he also sees a door thats blocked by a piece of wood.
Rick removes the wood and opens the door only to find multiple zombies inside the room.
One of the zombies lunges itself at Rick and falls to the ground and the zombies head come off.
Rick leaves the hospital and finds a bike.
As Rick walk towards the bike he sees a zombie with only its upper half of its body.
Rick grabs the bike and returns to his house to check for his family (Lori and Carl).
Exiting his home Rick gets knocked unconscious by a boy (Duane Jones) with a shovel, the boys father
(Morgan Jones) comes quickly and says to him that Rick is not a zombie and brings him in their home.
Morgon starts explaining to Rick that the whole situation with the zombies started about a moth ago.
Rick thought maybe Lori (his wife) would have taken Carl (his son) to Atlanta where her parents live.
Rick , Morgan and Duane go to the police department in order to get supplies.
Rick gives Morgan and Duane some guns and a police car while changing into some uniforms.
Morgan and Duane decided to stay behind while Rick plans to go search for his family in Atlanta.
Morgan thanks Rick, while Rick advises Morgon to make sure he uses the weapons when necessary. And
off Rick goes to find his family.

Summary of Volume 2
On Ricks way to Atlanta to find his family he runs out gas from his car, while he is

searching for gasoline he finds a house.

inside the home, Rick finds the remains of a family that committed a religiously
motivated group suicide.
Rick continues to explore the property when he finds a horse inside the family's barn.
Rick takes the horse out of the barn, planning to use the horse to get to Atlanta.
Rick arrives at Atlanta, enters the city, only to find city ruined, zombies start coming
towards him and knocks him off his horse and the zombies start eating the horse.
Rick starts yelling and shooting his gun, he runs into a alley then to meet the new
character Glenn.
Rick and Glenn exit the city safely and explains to Rick that the governments plan
was to lourn everybody to the city as meat and everyone would all die there.
Rick breaks down thinking that his family may have been killed, Glen also starts
explaining that there is a camp outside of the city where there are a group of survivors
explaining that his family might be there.

Summary of Volume 3
Rick is reunited with his family Happy as ever, even if he is in a zombie apocalypse.
Lori and Carl explained to Rick that Shane took care of them the whole time he was in a coma, they

thought Rick was dead because Shane told them he was.

Rick meets the gang of survivors and gets to know them, there is Allen, Donna, Andrea, Amy, Jim,
Dale, Carol, Sophia and Billy and Ben.
Lori and Rick were talking about Carl and Lori about how they left and how normally Carl cant sleep
without his mom by his side.
Rick has been so focused on getting to his family that he hasnt had the time to be scared, hes been
freaking out.
Dale thinks Shane is in love with Lori and hes just letting him know that Shane and Lori have
gotten really close.
Lori, Carol and Donna went to go wash the clothes, Rick and Shane went hunting for some food.
Shane and Rick are in the forest and see a zombie eating a dear, they try and get close to it.
Lori, Carol and Donna were leaving the river walking back to the camp and a zombie is right there
beside them and Dale was there and chopped its head off with a axe, the zombie is still alive.
Rick and Shane are still in the forest watching the zombie eat away and they accidently get its
attention and Rick hits it with a axe, Rick hears a gun shot from in the camp.
Rick and Shane get back to the camp and find out that they shot a zombies head and chopped it off.

Question for Volume 3

What if you saw a zombie up close?
Would you shoot a gun even if you knew that the

zombies would come?

If you were attacked by a zombie how would you
feel?

Summary of Volume 4
Shane is guarding the place while the others are sleeping and Rick sneak's up on

him and scares him.

Rick is thinking of moving the camp to a safer place and Shane thinks its a bad
Idea, Rick thinks of another good idea, he wants to go to city with Glenn and get
some supplies that will help them stay safe if they are going to stay in the same
camp place.
Lori does not want Rick to go because its too risky and also because he just got
back and just healed, she does not want him to get hurt again.
Rick goes with Glenn towards the city and stops at a dead body, he decided to use
the blood of the zombie and put it all over him and Glenn.
They get to the city and start walking, so far its working until it starts to rain, they
quickly grab what they need and run as fast as they can.
Rick almost got bit but thank god he was wearing extra layers, he does not want
Lori to know.
Shane and Lori are talking about how what they did that one night was a mistake.

Summary of Volume 5
All the campers are practise shooting so if they are in need of protection they can just use

a gun.
Carl is getting lessons for shooting guns from Rick, Lori is not ready for Carl to start using
a gun just yet, she is very upset with Rick.
Rick lets everyone know that Carl will be carrying a gun around with him because he
trusts him.
Lori is very upset about how Rick made that decision without her, they are arguing about
it.
Dale, Rick and Shane went to the forest to cut some wood.
Shane is mad at Rick because he still wants to move the camp.
The whole crew started talking about what they did before the Zombie apocalypse, Amy
had to pee so she was on her way to the bathroom but a zombie was coming her way and
bit her, there was more zombies coming after that, Lori brought the kids into a car and
kept them there until there was a sign that everything was all clear.
Amy has died, all the zombies are still coming there way, its never ending, there was a
zombie going Loris way but her gun fell out of her hands so Carl was thankfully there and
shot it right in the head.
Jim has been bitten and Amy is dead, lots of lives at stake with Amy coming back as a
zombie and Jim coming back too.

If you have a sister\brother and they got bit by a

zombie how would you react?

If you got bit by a zombie itself how would you react?
Would you give everyone guns in the group if they
didnt know how to use them?

Summary for Volume 6

Everyone is at Amy's funeral, they all said something nice about her.
Jim is still alive the next day, normally nobody ever makes it through the first day without

turning so he is lucky.
Shane, Rick and Carl are gone hunting for their supper, Shane is mad at Rick again
because Shane thinks Rick is blaming him for what happened and he is because he didnt
listen to him, this wouldnt have happened if he would have just listened.
Andrea is still upset about Amy, I would if that happened to me.
Jim wants to be left tied to a tree so he can apparently be left to reunite with his family.
Shane wants to go hunting with Rick again today, Carl wanted to come but he could not
because Rick and Shane need to talk but Shane said about what and then they got into this
huge fight where Shane hit Rick and Lori hit Shane.
Shane left and went to the forest and Rick followed after him.
When Rick finally caught up Shane was so angry that he pointed a gun at Rick saying
everything was perfect until he came and ruined it with Lori, he loves her.
Rick is trying to talk Shane out of shooting him, but then Carl comes and shoots Shane,
Shane died.

Question for Volume 6

Would you shoot someone alive if it is necessary?
Would you let a kid have a gun for his own

protection in a zombie apocalypse?

If you got bit by a zombie, which way would you
prefer to die, to get shot before the transition or be
left alone and feel everything along with the side
affects?

Summary of Volume 7
Lori feels alone without Rick so she kissed Shane.
Shane snapped at Rick and pulled a gun on him, before he cold shoot Rick carl ended up shooting

Shane.
Ever since Rick died the camp needed a new leader to protect the group so they decided Rick.
Rick doesnt want his son finding out its Christmas so theyre skipping it this year.
They ran into some zombies while on theyre way to the new camp and they saw the light up ahead and
it was another group of people.
The group decided to take the new people they met and make them join theyre group.
When Glenn when into the city he gathered enough food for his group and the new people so they can
have stuff to eat.
Lori walked away from the camp fire and Rick went after her and he asked what was wrong. Lori said
no Rick, I'm pregnant.

Summary of Volume 8
Lori told Rick that she is pregnant, then she told the other because she wanted Rick to

know first, Dale thinks Shane is the father but Rick just does not want to admit it.
They visited other camp spots because the other one was way to dangerous to stay at, then
they saw this amazing place that can maybe be their new home.
Everyone is splitting up to go check and see if the places are good to stay at.
Rick and Tyreese are in a house looking around for any zombies, Rick checks the
basement and finds 2 zombies coming his way, Dale came with Glenn and saw Rick
getting attacked by zombies, Dale told him to lift their heads up so he can get a clear shot
and shoot the zombies.
Everyone is staying in separate rooms, Lori and Rick are talking about the baby, Donna
was handing out blankets.
When Donna went to a different room she went inside and found Andrea and Dale having
sex, they did not notice.
The snow is melting, there was a sign filled with snow but now that it melted it said ALL
DEAD, DO NOT ENTER.

Summary of Volume 9
Lori is in bed just watching both Carl and Rick sleep and was thinking about the baby and

how its never going to see the world before the zombie apocalypse.
Tyreese and Carol and cuddling, Donna and Allen were talking about when Donna saw
Andrea and Gale sleep together, she is happy that they are happy.
Everybody was put in groups to search all the houses, Rick went to go get a gun and when
he did he saw the sign with the all dead written on it, he starts running to get the others.
Donna gets surrounded by zombies and she dies, Allen shoots the gun at the zombies and
all the zombies hear it and start coming their way.
Everyone is trying to get out of there as soon as possible, Julie and Chris were upstairs
having sex, they get out the window because the zombies are down the stairs, They jump
on the roof of the RV and leave as soon as possible.
They stop to get some gas and find a place to stay the night, they find a abandoned place
but there was nothing in there that was useful.
Everyone is starving, Rick, Tyreese, Carl, Dale and Glenn go hunting, Rick heard
something and thought it was a animal but it was a person and he shot Carl, he thought
Carl was a animal so shot him.

If your son got shot, how would you feel?
If you saw ALL DEAD DO NOT ENTER on a sign,

Summary of Volume 10
A person has shot Carl, Carl is still alive, the guy that shot Carl lives on a farm and there is a guy that

can help them there.

Tyreese went to the RV to tell everyone what happened, Rick went to the farm place where the others
live.
Going as fast as Rick can to save his sons life, Lori is running as fast as she can to make it and see if
Carl made it and is still alive.
There is a doctor inside trying to take the bullet out, after a while of waiting The doctor finally got the
bullet out.
Hershel introduced everybody, and everyone is getting a tour of their house/farm.
Andrea and Allen had a little chat, He got mad at her because she said to be brave for his kids, she
didnt mean it in a negative way at all but thats how he took it.
Carl is finally awake, Lori and Rick checked up on him and he is doing fine.
Sophia went to go see Carl, Sophia kissed him on the cheek, Carl didnt like it.
Dale was talking to Lori about if the baby is Shanes then she would have to take the secret to her grave
or else it would kill Rick (emotionally).
Maggie wants to have sex with Glenn if he is willing to too.
Julie and Chris are planning something we dont know about.
Rick just found out that Hershel keeps zombies in his barn.
