Differentiation of learners:
To cater for students with needing additional support, the following strategies have been put
in utilised:
Textbooks are differentiated to ability
Assisted support is provided via teacher aide to students who require it
Assessment & Evaluation of Learning:
Students were able to identify which time is read as past the hour and to the hour
Students were able to read clocks using half/quarter past and to the hour

Assessment: For learning

Mark work and record students results into math table
Teacher Comments:
This lesson was not very successful. Students did not grasp the concept of minutes on an
analogue clock. Students were able to represent time on a clock however were unsure and
many were clearly uncomfortable with analogue time. A class test was administered to
monitor students understanding.
