Advanced Art- Larger than Life Handout

Step 1: Practice Drawing your hand and decide poses

You will need 3 different hand poses for project
Step 2: Once poses are finalized draw the 3 poses onto an
18x24 piece of drawing paper
You can choose to value now or wait until the end and
value all at the same time
Draw the poses in different sizes (refer to example)
Take up most of the paper provided
Step 3: Choose something as your background
Not a scene but an object (in example was a watch)
Repeat this object at least twice in different sizes in the
background
Step 4: Finish valuing your drawing
Make your darks, DARK
Show the highlights/reflections
Spray with workable fixative to preserve the graphite
Step 5: Fill out Rubric, answer reflection, and Matte
