A.

Prior Changes His Mind

A thought
Struck A. Prior some time
In the past
Tense!
He thought
Truths dont always last:
What is true per today
Can be false on the morrow,
Add some tense to our logic
To rid us of sorrow!
Thus was A. Priors priority
Changed
He said: Free will is true!
And whats more:
Indeterminism too!

It was a prior
Discussion by
Old Aristotle
On future contingents and
Ships in a bottle (battle)
That made our A. Prior
Make up his good mind
And say to his Calvin:
The Scholastics I find
Are more right than you
On matters of time.

A priori or not,
My prior commitment
To your way of thinking
Can go where the ship went,
The ship that was sinking
In the battle, that is,
Over future contingents
And some other piss
Which lies now to rot
Among other pungents
In Aristotles Interpretation

And thats what will happen

In the blink of an eye
When a prior A. Prior
Says to fixed tense bye-bye!
