Analyze How is the work organized? What elements or principles of design are used? Use art

Lines: What kind of lines are in the work? Straight, curved, dotted, broken, wavy, jagged, textured,
horizontal, vertical diagonal, contour or outlines. Were the lines created by abrupt color, value or
texture changes? (2-3 sentences) The picute was cut up into strips and the putback together. She
used a white border around each of the cut out and had some bhind others and others in front.
These panels also were a bit slanted.

Color and Value

Are the colors warm, cool, bright, dull, light, opaque or transparent? Values resulting from
combinations of lights and darks, or shades and tints of a color.
Shapes (two-dimensional) and forms (three-dimensional), representational, abstract,
organic, geometrical, open, closed.
Texture Rough, smooth, coarse, soft, bumpy, hairy, shady, etc. Simulated you can see
but not feel it or real. (Dont confuse texture with pattern the repetition of some motif in
a recognizable order, such as polka dots or a checkerboard.
(2-3 sentences) The colors were cool, they had blues, blacks, purples, and a dark orange. The
shapes of this work were geomentrical because of the panels, they were also 2-d, but had a
shadow behind the panels. The texture was smooth and very , if it was real it would have
bumps where each panel would overlap.

Balance: What contributes to balance in the composition? Is the balance symmetrical,

asymmetrical or radial? (2 -3 sentences) It was balnced in composition, because of the way it
was put together. It was a balance that was pleaseing to the eye.

Interpret What message does this artwork communicate to you?

(3-5 sentences) The feeling I have and or mood of this art work is a magical type of feeling because it
was Disneyland. I personally feel that way because that is truly what Disneylant is .

Judge What do you think of the work?

Write about the success of this work, explain.

(3-5 sentences) It is well put together, very pretty and a nice choice of the picure. She could of picked a million
different things, but she made it magical. The shadows in the background make it that much better. It's amazing

what you can do with panels and how you put them together. One more thing I must add is that the border around
the panels are nice it makes it pop.
