Lesson Procedure:
1. Inform students that they are to create a character profile about their Frugglot which
will be used for assessment and as the foundation for their informative text
2. Discuss when to use capitals, full stops and commas.
3. Handout worksheets and allow students to begin, remind students this is independent
work
4. Check students work as they go
Early finishers may do silent reading.
Differentiation of learners:
To cater for students with needing additional support, the following strategies have been put
in utilised:
Assisted support is provided via teacher aide to students who require it
Assessment & Evaluation of Learning:
Students were able to create a character profile that used appropriate language
Students used appropriate grammar and effective adjectives
