Lesson Procedure: continuation of past lesson
1. Inform students that they are to use their character profile from earlier to create an
informative report/text about their Frugglot using the headings Introduction,
Attributes, Thoughts, Actions and Conclusion.
2. Review informative texts examples penguins and highlight each heading area
3. Inform students work must be completed before break
4. Discuss when to use capitals, full stops, commas and the importance of adjectives.
5. Provide dictionaries for students to find words they are unsure of
6. Allow students to begin.
Early finishers may complete their spelling conventions then do silent reading.
Differentiation of learners:
To cater for students with needing additional support, the following strategies have been put
in utilised:
Assisted support is provided via teacher aide to students who require it
Computers are available to students with literacy limitations
Assessment & Evaluation of Learning:
Students were able to create an informative text using the correct structure
Students used appropriate grammar and effective adjectives

Observe students writing and note any areas requiring support
