Wyoming has one of the lowest taxes of the country.


Although, they have high property taxes but they dont
have income taxes for each individual. The average
homeowner would pay $2,321 every year. Even though,
New Jersey and Wyoming have around the same range of
property tax but Wyomings sales tax rate is at 4%.

Across the country there is New Jersey. Their state
income tax rate is 8.97% which is double of Wyomings
tax rate. Their sales tax rate is 7%. The average property
tax per capita is $2,819. This is almost $500 more than
Wyomings average. The total tax rate would be
15.97%. This is almost four times the total tax rate of
Wyoming!

Washington does not have any individual income taxes for their
residents. Although residents that are homeowners may have to
pay every year $2,631. Although this is higher than Rhode
Islands but their sales tax is only 6.5 percent. Also, Social
Security and retirement is not taxed.

Rhode Island
Rhode Island has an income tax rate of 5.99%. Their
sales tax is only 7%. While the average homeowner
pays annually $2, 083. Even though this is less than
Washingtons but Rhode Island imposes taxes on
Social Security, and income for pensions and
retirement programs.

Towards the west of the country there lies
Nevada. Even though their sales tax rate is
6.875%, a bit higher than Connecticuts tax
but Nevadas sales tax excludes food and
prescription drugs. They do not have income
tax and the average homeowner pays $1,297
every year. In Connecticut, they pay almost
double of this amount per year.

On the other side of the country, there is
Connecticut. Connecticut has the second
worst property taxes. The average you
might have to pay is $2,522 per capita.
Dont buy a property in Connecticut! Not
only that, Connecticut has an income tax
rate of 6.7% and their sales tax rate is
6.35%. The total of taxes is 13.05% comes
out of your pocket!

Come to Alaska
Even though
