He has no intention on making existing
reality into rigid shapes. But rather of
making his shape as open, and as
flexible as possible.

Alexander Sandy Calder

Move Through Space.


Calders form intention was to make his
art work move through space. He first
experiments with motorized sculpture.
After he precisely adjust weights and
balance each shape, he creates work float
through space and moved by only air
currents, known as mobile.

German Expressionist Movement.


Known for his contribution to abstract art
and non-representational art. He uses
geometric shapes and lines to
communicate experiences and emotions.
Kandinsky also has intention to make
visual art into music, so his audience can
hear his art work.
