Culture is one of the elements in


peoples ways of life that normally
remains unchanged.

the beliefs, customs, practices, and


social behavior of a particular nation
or people.

Purpose of the Study

To understand, identify and describe


traditional practices about ATANG in
Benguet.
To identify if this offering in a ritual should
preserved, discarded, modified and the
ethical implication of this ritual.
To enlighten the people or generation
nowadays who has lost contact with
traditional practices.

Why do the Benguet people give


importance to this kind of practice?
What are the beliefs and values of
Benguet people attached to the
offering
What are the advantages in performing
Atang?
Is this kind of practices ethical?

The researchers selected 35
respondents.
Descriptive survey was used as the
research design.
Questionnaires was used for data
gathering.
