CANDIDATE REFLECTIONS:
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)
1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology facilitation and
leadership from completing this field experience?
The field experience was creating a lesson plan that required students to use at least three
forms of technology use. I learned that in order to have students use the technology and
learn expand upon the knowledge, the tools had to be taught prior to implementing the
lesson.
2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you
be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs, enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected in Part I. Use the
language of the PSC standards in your answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)
Knowledge: In order to accomplish the goal of completing this task I had to know the how to
implement the tools I included in the lesson and be able to teach others how to use them. The
knowledge I gained helped me design, develop, implement, communicate, and evaluate
technology-infused plans created for my students.
Skills: Because of this assignment I am able to facilitate the use of digital tools and resources
to engage students in authentic learning experiences. I can aid in the effective use of digital
tools to support and enhance higher-ordered thinking skills from my students.
Dispositions: I am excited about sharing my vision for the effective use of technology tools to
promote excellence in my school and district.
3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or
student learning at your school. How can the impact be assessed?
I believe this field experience will impact my schools improvement in a positive way. After
this class I will take the time to evaluate my own technology lessons and identify my strong
and weak learning indicators. As a department head I can now offer coaching to the teachers
on my team to help them develop lessons that effectively use technology to enhance learning
goals.
