Slovenian minister Gorazd mavc to speak at RMIT


RMIT Universitys European Union Centre will host an event featuring the Minister for Slovenians abroad, Mr Gorazd mavc, on Friday.
The event Slovenian Business in Australia will highlight opportunities for academic, business and cultural cooperation and existing relationships between Australia
and Slovenia.
Mr mavc will also speak about the Slovenian contribution in Australian academic and business fields.
Speakers include:

Dr Srechko Jernej Stretch Kontelj, a former mayor of Geelong who will talk about his experiences as Slovenian businessman and academic

Mrs Aleksandra L. Ceferin (M.A.), President of The Institute for Slovenian Studies of Victoria will speak about the Institutes initiatives and website projects

Dr Kaja Antlej, Slovenian Endeavour Fellow at Australian National University will speak about her research experience in private companies and

Mr Robert Walters, Acting President of the Slovenian Australian Academic Association and Secretary of the Slovenian Australian Chamber of Commerce.

Mr mavc will be available for media interviews on the day.
