Abstracts/Specs:

A. Imposition a layout that is provided by the instructor. Create a dummy and use it as a guide for the
magazine imposition layout. Imposition the file as a 4 page signature. Start with an Adobe InDesign
file provided by the instructor. Use your dummy as a guide for arranging the pages. Export a pdf file
with your first and last name as well as the label magimp (ex. johndoe_magimp.pdf) and submit file on
a labeled CD. Turn in your dummy with your name labeled on it.

B. Imposition a pdf file provided by instructor into a setup that meets the instructors needs. Create a
dummy and use it as a guide. This file is for an 5.25” x 8.5“ saddle stitched calendar. The final imposi-
tioned file will be for a 2-up layout. Setup your document 10.75” x 17“ with full bleeds in Adobe
InDesign. Manually place the pages into and InDesign file. Export a pdf file with your first and last
name for file name. Then submit files on a labeled CD. Turn in your dummy with your name on it.
