How are Cambridge students assessed?
In the Spring, ICGSE students take an end of course test, called a paper, in the IGCSE courses they enroll in. For example in English 0500, students take Paper 2 and Paper 3. Students who are taking the Core class (Honors Level) take Paper 1 and Paper 3. The scoring and test requirements vary by level. At mid-term, the teacher and student will determine which test is most appropriate to their progress in the course. Most Cambridge students will test in English and Physics. Keep in mind that students may also sit for the Advanced Placement Human Geography exam in the Spring, as well.
