    FollowingthisweeksrulingthatfoundBakersfield
    CollegeinnoncompliancewithCaliforniaCommunityCollegeAthleticAssociation(CCCAA)
    Bylaw2,whichgovernssubsidizing,inducement,andspecialprivileges,weregretthatwewill
    notbepursuingfurtherappeals.

    AlthoughtheRenegadeHelmetClubdisagreeswiththejudgesdecision,wehavedecidedto
    standbyBakersfieldCollegeinouracceptanceofthejudgesdetermination,statedChad
    Manning,PresidentoftheRenegadeHelmetClub.Westillbelievetherewerenoinducements
    orspecialprivilegesduringthe2012footballseason,andarebeingpunishedforvaguelywritten
    athleticrulesofconduct.Eventhoughtheyhavevacatedthe2012StateChampionship,wewill
    alwaysbeproudofthatseasonandtheworkthatwedid.

    Overthepastyear,BakersfieldCollegehaspursuedlegalactionagainsttheCalifornia
    CommunityCollegeAthleticAssociationandtheSouthernCaliforniaFootballAssociationto
    overturntheirdecision.TheCCCAABylawspromisemembercollegesandtheirathletic
    programsdueprocessandfairnessofprocedures.Throughtheappealsprocess,thecollege
    wasdeniedfairnoticeandanopportunityforahearingbeforeanimpartialdecisionmaker.

    Throughoutthistryingprocess,wecannotbemoreproudoftheconductofthefootballteam
    andthefanswhohavesupportedus,statedChadManning.Welearnedavaluablelesson,
    andweareeagertoputthischapterbehindus.

    TheRenegadeHelmetClubisanonprofitorganizationdedicatedtoprovidinganunforgettable
    footballexperienceandcollegeeducationforstudentathletesthroughoutKernCounty.We
    serveasastrongsupportsystem,workingalongsidetheBCfootballprogramtobuildstrong
    leadershipskillsinourplayersthroughmentoring,hardworkanddedication.

    WehavechosentograciouslyaccepttherulingfromJudge.ofSacramentoconcerningthe
    actionsagainstBakersfieldCollege.Althoughwebelieveinourheartsthatwedidnothing
    wrong,weareeagertomoveforwardandleavethissadchapterinthepast.TheRenegade
    HelmetClubcontinuestosupporttheBCFootballProgramandtheadministrationsdecisionto
    notspendanymorevaluabletimeandresourcesonthismatter.Thankyou,KernCounty,for
