INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
The plan should guide the LEAs use of education technology for the next three years.

Harmony Schools mission is to provide each student for higher education by supplying a caring,
and a safe environment and collaborative atmosphere featuring a quality educational program
with bases on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Harmony Public Schools is established by a group of academicians in 2000.

Describe how a variety of stakeholders from within the LEA and the communityat-large participated in the planning process.
Administrators, teachers, parents, department chairs, and coaches have meetings on the planning
process every six weeks.

Summarize the relevant research and describe how it supports the plan's
curricular and professional development goals.
Summarize the plans major curricular and professional development outcomes
that are supported by research.
Describe and cite the relevant research that supports the plans outcomes.
Describe the connection between the research and the plans goals.
Describe information gathered from site visits, including best practices.

a) To make sure that technology devices are available for everyone and they have access in
school.
b) To make sure that technology devices in the library and labs are used in an appropriate
way.
c) To make sure that technology is actively used in the classrooms by teachers and also to
see how technology is integrated into the curriculum.
d) To make sure that technology is technology and information literacy skills embedded in
content area lessons.
e) How teachers are going to be trained in order to pass internet safety and ethical use
content?
f) How admins support teachers with integrating technology into daily curriculum?
g) What professional development is going to be provided to the teachers by admins?
h) Who does provide technical support for the students and teachers needs?

CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.


The Plan must establish clear goals and realistic strategy for using
telecommunications and information technology to improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe teachers' current access to instructional technology and current use of


digital tools.

According to research digital tools makes students engage and more motivated in the classroom.
Technology plays a significant role in school between admins and teachers on communication,
tasks, assessment, attendance, and etc.

Describe students' current access to instructional technology and current use of


digital tools. Include a description about the LEA policy, practices, and/or
replacement policy that ensures equitable technology access for all students.
Students are able to use their Chromebooks during class time to do their online assignments,
research and communicate with the others on Edmodo.
One of the most important LEA policy is to provide equal access for all students with high quality
instruction by the teacher

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for using
technology to improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align to
the LEA's curricular goals that are supported by other plans. Describe how the
LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding
proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful implementation.
Technology provides many tools for teachers in order to use in classroom or out of classroom to
increase students motivation, engagement and learning process. As an annual activity students
can work on their science fair project on their Chromebook for their research.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, to address


Internet Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the
classroom.
Since there are lots of issues with safety and ethnics on the internet such as, inappropriate
messages, photos, videos, harassment, plagiarism, and etc. Students must know the policy of
technology use giving by teachers. There should be a specific date to inform and explain all
students how to use technology tools.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT


The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff
understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Summary of the teachers' and administrators' current technology proficiency and


integration skills and needs for professional development.
Teachers are provided laptops and IPads by admins in order to make teachers work easier such as
grading, preparing power point, taking attendance, showing educational videos, and preparing
lesson plans. Technology is helping teachers too much to save time and develop themselves.
Technology is used by admins to evaluate teachers and communicate with teachers or parents.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for providing
professional development opportunities based on your LEA needs assessment
data and the Curriculum Component of the plan.
Professional development is an opportunity for teachers to make the lesson high quality and have
high motivated students and also reach achievements.

INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND


ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA
The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services,

hardware, software, asset management, and other services that will be needed to
improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe the existing hardware, Internet access, electronic learning resources,


technical support, and asset management already in the LEA that will be used to
support the Curriculum and Professional Development Components of the plan.
We currently have computer labs, Chromebooks, and IPads with internet access. Teachers are
using harmony email system to communicate with parents and each other and some different
software for their lecture.

Describe the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and


telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical
support, and asset management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and
administrators to support the activities in the Curriculum and Professional
Development components of the plan.

Purchasing access points and wireless routers, and if there is need, some boards and computer
with needed software.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT
The plan must include an evaluation process that enables the school to monitor
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in response
to new developments and opportunities as they arise.

Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on
teaching and learning.
Evaluating is taken place by superintendent and principal on checking teachers evaluations, test
results, surveys, and classroom observations. I think those evaluations will increase the quality of
teaching and learning process and will bring success.

Describe the schedule for evaluating the effect of plan implementation, including
a description of the process and frequency of communicating evaluation results
to tech plan stakeholders.
A survey should be administered every year in order to measure technology and media skills and
digital citizenship between students and teachers. Gathered data from surveys need to be
reviewed by superintendent and principals in order to determine the level of the progress made
towards the purpose and objectives of the technology plan.
