CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.
The Plan must establish clear goals and realistic strategy for using
telecommunications and information technology to improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe teachers' current access to instructional technology and current use of

digital tools.
What technology is currently available to all teachers?
Each classroom has 1 Epson Powerlite 98 Projector, 1 Lenovo all in one
desktop computer for teacher usage and an additional Dell Desktop
Optiplex GX620 for student usage. Only 2 classrooms have smartboards.
There is a computer lab having 18 desktop computers for online
instructional resources and keyboarding classes.
How is technology currently being used by teachers and administrators to
promote effective classroom instruction and school management?
Teachers and administrators are utilizing online Student Information
System which is called BMSS Connect. It has live content including:

Grades

Assignments

Attendance & Discipline

Online Testing

Student Personal Information

BMSS is constructing the communication and information bridge between parents

and the teachers.
Communication among the staff is being currently maintained via e-mails. Gmail
was chosen for mail server service.
Admins and teachers are using Google Sheets for data sharing.
Teachers are actively using smart boards and projectors while instructing.

Call-em-All Robo Calling System has been utilized whenever needed.

Describe students' current access to instructional technology and current use of

digital tools. Include a description about the LEA policy, practices, and/or
replacement policy that ensures equitable technology access for all students.

Is technology currently available to all students?

Technology is currently available to all students.

Do all student groups have equal and appropriate access to the available
technology?
All student groups have equal and appropriate access to the available
technology.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for using
technology to improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align to
the LEA's curricular goals that are supported by other plans. Describe how the
LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding
proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful implementation.
Does the school budget include allocations to acquire the hardware, electronic
learning resources, infrastructure, professional development, and technical
support necessary to implement the plan?
Technology Plan has a separate budget. It has allocations for the
hardware, electronic learning resources, infrastructure, professional
development, and technical support necessary to implement the plan.

What funding sources, including federal, state, or local programs are available to
support the plan?
Title-1 funding is the only federal funding sources for supplemental hardware
and electronic learning resources.
Technology plan is mainly funded with state FTE allocation.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, to address
Internet Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the
classroom.
What are the LEAs curriculum goals and plans for assisting students to meet
technology literacy and information literacy skills?
To have 60% of students performing in the yellow range or above by the end of
the 2nd FAIR-FS assessment period. To have 70% of students in grades K-5
performing in in the yellow range or above by end the 3rd FAIR-FS assessment
period.
Increase the percentage of students performing at the proficient level and higher
in state test 2015.
In grades 3-5, our goal is to have 70% passing score in Reading and
Math.
In grades 5 , our goal is to have 70% passing score in Science once grade

Continue using the individual progress monitoring system to follow up students

progress and see their needs.
Through guidance to teachers (providing materials, strategies, etc.), reduce the
percentage of ELL students score a level 1 on state test.
Ensure at least 90% of students using Accelerated Reader reach their individual
goals each semester. In addition encourage teachers and students to ensure an
overall goal of at least 5 books a semester are read per student.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT

The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff
understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Summary of the teachers' and administrators' current technology proficiency and

integration skills and needs for professional development.
Do teachers have the classroom management strategies to work with the amount
of technology actually available in the classrooms?
Professional Development should be evaluated based on the level of
current technology integration by teachers into classrooms. This will
measure the impact of the professional development for digital
learning into the classrooms. The Technology Integration Matrix (TIM)
can be found at: http://fcit.usf.edu/matrix/matrix.php. Please use this
tool to self assess where the teachers at your school currently are in
their use of instructional technology. Average integration should be
recorded as the percent of teachers at each of the 5 categories of the
TIM for the levels of technology integration into the classroom
curriculum:
