There has been poor coordination between the various departments due to a lack of
integration between the teams and the absence of a more participative team style.
The creation of a Special Purpose Team helps in integrating the departments and involves
employees in the decision making process. This new structure also helps improving the
response time in the company which has deteriorated in the recent past.
Revamping the Training Process
The current training program was not received well by the departments. After discussions
with the VP-Manufacturing, a new training program is designed taking into consideration
the time schedules of the employees and making them understand the long-term benefits
of the training program
The program also focussed on leadership development and improving managerial skills
which would help improve the decisions taken and provide professional managerial training
to the Vice Presidents.
