This global community consists of visionary leaders and other forward thinking educators who work closely with Microsoft to lead innovation in Education. If that is you then join us by becoming involved. Microsofts Innovative Expert Educator Canada program is looking for new educators to become a part of our team. We would like to 20 new MIE Experts to join Team Canada. Meet the Microsoft Innovative Expert Educators who represented Canada in Barcelona, Spain at Microsofts Global Forum 2014.

If selected, you spend a year in the program. During that time, you gain access to a broad range of resources. These include: Access to the latest Microsoft technology for educators Consultation with World Wide Education leaders Collaboration with forward thinking educators and edu leads from around the world Create teacher best practice stories in education for innovative lessons and learning activities Opportunity to qualify to represent Canada at Microsoft Global Education Forum March 2015 at Microsoft Campus, Redmond Seattle, USA. Who can Apply Anyone who is actively teaching and has a passion for using technology to improve student outcomes. Applicants must not have won within the last three years. How to Apply 1. Sign in and join the Microsoft Educator Network and create a member profile. 2. Complete Teaching with Technology Professional Development on Microsoft Educator Network 3. Download the application instructions. 4. To demonstrate how you use technology to support 21st Century teaching and learning practices, the application requires you to upload a Learning Activity. 5. Download the Application Rubric and the Learning Activity Rubric to see what the evaluation committee is looking for in your submissions. 6. Start the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert application from your member profile. Edit and save your application as a draft or submit it for consideration.
