Engaging a variety of patient populations in group therapy. Patients diagnosis included Psychosis, Mood
Disorders and Recovery (Substance Abuse). Patient age ranges ranged from 8-85 years old. Primary
focus was adults with Psychosis and Mood Disorders. Roles included: Facilitating Group, Patient
Assessments, Group Notes, Care Plan, Treatment Reviews, Discharges, Department Meetings,
Continuing Education Courses, ROPES Course Certification and Communicating with the
Interdisciplinary Team.

Engaging with patients during group activities and outings. Helping create individualized calendars for
each of the eight units on a monthly basis. Established a suggestion box system that patients use to
request activities/outings or voice complaints about certain groups. Observed numerous
multidisciplinary staff meetings, special staff meetings and patient assessments. Currently planning to
run groups independently and as a co-facilitator.
