AN ACT Relating to: The allocation of $9,905.00 (nine thousand, nine hundred five dollars) from the Student Events Pool
(6272-0200-03) to fund judging fees and travel expenses for the Debate Club. Any monies left over from the following
fees/expenses will be returned to the

BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASWSUV SENATE:

Sec. 1. The allocation of $1,000.00 from the Student Events Pool (6272-0200-03) for the following fees:
• Judging Fees $1,000.00

Sec. 2. The allocation of $8,905.00 from the Student Events Pool (6272-0200-03) for the following travel locations and
forecasted expenses:
• Lewis & Clark $314.00
• University of Puget Sound $1,868.00
• Lower Columbia $572.00
• Linfield $1,837.00
• Clackamas $987.00
• Oregon State $1,424.00
• Willamette Hatfield $1,601.00
• Mt. Hood World Style Tournament $302.00
Grand Total: $8,905.00

STATEMENT OF FACT: Advertisements will read “Co-sponsored by ASWSUV” in 14-point font or font equal to the
average size lettering on the advertisement, for all advertising for the event(s) as required by ASWSUV By-Laws (260.12).
These events will be for the Debate Club to observe other clubs in action as well as participate in competitions. Student
Governemnt is being asked to fund roughly half of the forecasted $21,560.00 for the club’s year income. Any and all unused
funds will be returned to the Student Events Pool
