Phase 1
What is the relative advantage of using the technology of
this lesson?
It will develop students ability to effectively choose a topic to
research through scholarly articles/critiques and then to promote
their creative and individual expression of thoughts on the literary

It will also boost students belief that they can properly research
and uncover new ideas that they found present in the literary
works they blogged about.

and effectively assess, reflect, and
critique the literary work of their

rubric present.

What integration strategies are used

in this lesson plan?
The use of a free blogging site, list of
resourceful scholarly databases,
Spreadsheet with requirements for blog
posts and citations

How would you prepare the learning

environment?
I would spend the first week (or two) of
class guiding students through the
selection process, locating scholarly
sources, demonstrating quality blog
posts.

Phase 3
How would you evaluate the success of this lesson in your
classroom in order to determine revision needs?
I would use the peer review sheets handed in biweekly by
students as well as my weekly checks to see if students are
making progress with the objectives and if they need help with the
technology being used.
