Games
Baby & Me
Ask children what children eat. Have flannels of different foods they can bring up and put on
flannelboard. Ask children what babies eat. Have flannel of a bottle a child can put on board.
Continue this process with what preschoolers/babies wear, what preschoolers/babies play, where
preschoolers/babies sleep. Make sure all children get at least one chance to place flannel on the
board.
Animal Babies
Have photos of adult animals and baby animals with Velcro on the back of them. Pass out cards
to children. Ask who has the card for the animal that can be milked flies etc. Have child
come put card on flannel board. Next ask who has the baby of that animal. Ask children what
the name of that baby animal is. Once group decides, or you tell them, what the name of the

baby animal is, have that child come place their animal on the board. Continue until all the
animals and their young are on the flannel board. Once again review the name of each animal
