WhenMs.Simmonsdismissesclassthenotebookswillbeturnedbackintotheclassbin.Eachdays
workwillbedatedatthetopandstudentswillreceiveaweeklygradefortheircompletednotebooks.
Classroomnotebookswillcountfor20%ofthestudentsgradStudentswillhavepossibilitytoearn
100pointsfortheweek.EachdaysNotes,vocabulary,andwarmupwillbeworth20points.
Asstudentsentertheclassroomtheywillgrabtheirclassnotebookandbeginworkingonthewarm
upimmediately.Studentswillhavethetimebeforethetardybelland2minutesafterthetardybellto
workontheirwarmup.Then1minutewillbeallocatedtogoingovertheanswers.WarmUpswillbe
checkedweeklyforcompletiononly.TheWarmUpwillbegradedoutof5possiblepoints.
AftertheWarmupiscompletethestudentwillcopydownthevocabularyforthedayunderneaththe
notebook.Thestudentwillhave3minutestojotdownthevocabularyandfindthedefinitionontheir
Chromebook.

Noteswilllast15-20minutes.ThenoteswillbetitledwiththedaysObjectivecopiedintothe
notebook.StudentswillfollowalongwithMs.Simmonsonlearninghowtoidentifykeyconceptsin
notes.Asthesemesterprogressesstudentswillbegintakingtheirnoteswithoutbeingguided.Notes
willbegradedweeklyforcompletion.Thedailynoteswillbegradedoutof10possiblenotes.
Manytimestherewillbemultipleassignmentsdueattheendoftheday.Dailyassignmentswillbe
gradedoncompletenessandCorrectness.Studentsareexpectedtocompletetheirdaily
assignmentsintheallottedtime.Meetingdeadlinesisacriticallifeskillandstudentswillbeexpected
tomakealldeadlinesinMs.Simmonsclass.Extratimeforassignmentswillonlybegivenforcertain
assignmentsandatMs.Simmonsdiscretion.Ifstudentdoesnotuseclassroomtimewiselytheywill
notbegivenextratimetoworkontheassignment.Studentswhodousetheirtimewiselyandstillnot
areabletocompleteassignmentsintimewillbeallowedtofinishassignments.Assignmentswillbe
gradedbycompletionandcorrectness.Assignmentswillbegradedoutof100possiblepoints.

theyleavewiththeirnamewrittenontheback.Oncethe3passesareusedthestudentwillnolonger
beabletoleaveclasstousetherestroom.Ifstudentshavepassesleftattheendofthesemester
