• A person attitude towards spanking is largely affected by their age. It was
found that the older a person is the more they seem to agree with
spanking. This reasoning is supported by the fact that older generations
were big on discipline and was taught that the only way to get correct
behavior was by disciplining them. The younger the age group that was
surveyed the more of a negative response were found

positive response you will receive. You notice that there
is a decline in the average response to spanking overall.
