Hello parents and or guardian I am your son/daughter social studies teacher either in US
History, World Geography, Government, and Economy this year. For the junior it is a very
important year because in May they will take their Exit Star Exam that will determine if they will
be allowed to graduate next year. For the senior as well with the junior, and freshmen World
Geography, US History, Government, and Economy are required classes that need to pass with a
grade of 70 to receive credit for the course.
1. Be On Time for Class. Attendance is critical to the learning process. Be seated in your
assigned seat when the tardy bell rings. The teacher is the only person who can change

more absences this semester result in a loss of credit. Credit can only be restored with an
appeal request with an administer.
2. Come to Class Prepared To Do Work: That means have your homework ready to turn in.

in sheet before departing and take the pass with you. Bathroom breaks are no longer than six
minutes. If a student does not return in 6 minutes from the bathroom then that student will lose

the privileges of going to the bathroom for the rest of the six weeks. There are three hall passes
each nine weeks to leave the classroom during the semester. If a student has to go to the bathroom
for a third time in the nine-weeks it is up to the teacher if that student is allowed to go to the
bathroom except for certain medical exceptions.
