Course Description:
This is a full year honors course. The aim of this
course is to help students develop an understanding of
business financial systems. Students learn how financial
records are set-up, how transactions are recorded, and how
financial reports are developed for sole proprietorships and
partnerships. Class time is dominated by learning
accounting procedures and applying these to accounting
situations. Students will use accounting records such as
journals, ledgers, worksheets, and financial statements.
Students will also learn automated accounting techniques
and systems. This course meets requirements for senior
math. This is an articulated class: see instructor for details.

Education, Business Administration, and Finance Segments.
