Tekom is an innovative and dynamic company, specialized in various metallurgical sectors auxiliary of
cast iron and other alloys.
The company was born from the union of the experiences of two professionals of the foundry sector: a
metallurgical engineer and a mechanical businessman.
Adrian Udroiu is consultant of metallurgical
process in the most important European
foundries of cast iron and other alloys from
more than ten years and he is an engineer
with thirty years of experience in the foundry
industry.
Mauro De Lissandri is a mechanical
manufacturer with multi-year and specific
experience in the foundries plants, and he is
already a supplier of maintenance, assistance
and consulting services.
The union of the two experiences has developed into innovative and technological processes act to:

- Increase the control of final quality of product;

ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES ANALYSIS SOFTWARE T.A.G.

The new Software of metallurgical process
control is based on electrical properties
analysis of the liquid metal during
solidification. It can or cannot be
combined with the thermal analysis.
This Software, patented as a method of
real-time control and as a Tekom tool,
monitors more parameters than known
methods today do. The first graphitic
precipitation such the second in the last
zones of solidification, the Curie point and
the eutectoid transformation are in
evidence by the electrical changes of the
phases in course of transformation.
Accurate explanations provide with rapid
interventions in the metallurgical process
to optimize the final quality of cast iron.

THERMAL ANALYSIS SOFTWARE T.A.G.

Tekom has developed T.A.G. - Thermal
analysis Guardian, the thermal analysis
software of the metallurgical process for
the production of cast iron.
The management of metallurgical
parameters,
operated
through
information in real time, allows an
instantaneous projection of the final
product quality and a timely adjustment
of the same parameters in order to
optimise the machining thanks to the
creation of a reference experiential
archive with the data of the previous
productions.

Cored Wire plant of Tekom allows the transformation

of ordinary gray iron in nodular cast iron.
The technology of cored wire through the modification
of the chemical composition of cast iron produces a
material of easier management and machining, which
guarantees a considerable economic saving compared
to conventional methods of treatment.

In the study and construction of the plants, Tekom combines expertise in the metallurgical sector and
many years of plant design experience. Tekom also provides technical assistance to the final users and
proposes the combined application of software and systems act to achieve a high level of automation of
the melting process.
