Bridge To Terabithia Assessment task

Year 6/7GC Term 3 2015

Choose two of the following tasks to complete in response to reading Bridge to

Terabithia.

These tasks will need to be emailed to Miss C. You can choose how you would
like to present them. If you dont wish to use ICT for your tasks, you will need to
scan your project or take a photo and then email this to Miss C.

Both tasks are due at the end of Week 9.

1. Using either the first half or second half of the book, make a script for a
movie or T.V show. Complete a 1-2 page script.
2. Create a crossword puzzle using at least 20 words that you felt were
difficult in the novel.
3. In the point of view of Miss Edmunds write a letter to Jess giving her
condolences ( 4 paragraphs)
4. After reading Bridge to Terabithia make a storyboard of events
5. Create 3 comic strips in the point of view of Jess Mother, Father and
Maybelle. Explain their take on the passing of Leslie. Each strip needs 5
boxes.
6. Write a letter addressed to Leslie from Jess that he might have written to
her after she died. What would he have wanted to say to her? What did he
learn from her? Is there anything he wishes he would have done different
7. Make a time line of events in the life of the main character.
8. Write an obituary for Leslie
9. Write a newspaper article reviewing the book and announcing the release
of the movie
10.Create a new book cover, including back and front.
