Academics
Currently working on my Human Nutrition major, allied health emphasis, and will be
graduating in the spring of 2016.
Awarded health related studies student of the year my senior year of high school.
Currently hold a 3.85 GPA here at SUU.
Conducted summer research at the University of Utah this past summer.
Currently conducting research here at SUU, which I was invited to based upon my
performance in class.
Teachers assistant for microbiology.
Human Nutrition tutor.
Treasurer of the nutrition honor society, Kappa Omicron Nu, based upon academic
performance. Will be the president of the club next school year.
Will obtain a Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition in May of 2016.
Work Experience
Lawn care and landscaping (2010-2011) for J&S Mechanical in Draper Utah
Cashier at Sports Authority (2013). Duties included sales, cleanup, and cashier duties.
Summer research at the University of Utah (2014). In lab research assistant for the
summer.
Fabrication shot work hand (2015). Worked for J&S mechanical in their fabrication shop,
doing anything the shop foreman placed me in charge of. Duties included; shop cleanup
and organization, forklift operation, cutting large pipe, and many other odd jobs.
Skills
Basic medical skills learned through Rural Health Scholars program and medical service
missions to Nicaragua and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Basic computer comprehension skills, proficient in Work, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Social and communication skills
Skilled in a laboratory research setting due to undergraduate lab involvement and
undergraduate research participation.
Volunteer Activities
Nicaragua as a medical service mission with the Rural Health Scholars program. We spent
a week with the people of Nicaragua giving them basic medical attention. Throughout the
week we received basic medical training and learned some medical Spanish as well. This
trip also involved going around to local dentists and doctors gathering supplies to bring
with us. I will be going back to help the people of Nicaragua this spring break.
