Walk the Wish is an all
school event which culminates with a 5 km walk in the forests surrounding the school. Since 2007 AISB students have helped fulfill 51 wishes. Each division is given three wishes to fulfill. To fulfill a wish, students need to fundraise by asking to be pledged an amount of money for their 5km walk. There is no minimum or maximum pledge. Everyone gives what they can. The event will start on Friday, September 19 with a presentation at the ES Assembly. Students will get a pledge form in their homerooms. The Walk will take place on Thursday, September 25 @ 4:00pm

Elementary students may either walk around the track at school or walk in the forest. Elementary students MUST be accompanied by an adult. All participants are responsible to make their own way home after the event (There is no Sargent Bus service available). The Walk is followed by a community meal hosted by the PSA in both cafeterias. Pledge money can be given to the service coordinators in each division the week following the walk.

What Is Walk The Wish?
After the Walk, AISB Students will often fulfill the wishes of the children in person or invite them to AISB to receive their wish. In the ES, the Service Learning Coordinator visits the children either in their homes or at the hospital with representatives of the Csodalmpa Foundation. Last year, AISB was honored to receive the first ever CSODA LMPA Award given to highlight the contributions of our school community to the CSODALMPA Children. The award can be seen in the lobby of building B by the cafeteria.
