THE DISCIPLINE BOARD

DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY
Taft Avenue, Manila
Sir/Madam:
This refers to the complaint filed against me for the violation of Section 13.3.1.33 of the Student
Handbook for Lending I.D. to another and using someone elses I.D.
I wish to inform your good office that last November 26, 2002, I was in hurry to catch my early
morning class. Unfortunately, upon reaching the school entrance gate, I discovered that my
Student I.D. was missing, thus, the same was left at home. It came to my mind that I have in my
possession the backpack bag of my classmate, Ms. YI-CHIEH LAI, who at that time was not
aware that her Student I.D. was placed therein. Having in that situation and looking forward to
catch up my class, I have come to a decision to use her Student I.D., not realizing that it was a
big offense for a student of this university since I am a new student (just enrolled last September
2002) having no clear knowledge of the school regulations.
In view of the foregoing circumstances, I wish to make an apology for the mistake I have
committed, which, honestly speaking is not really my intention. Further, I wish to reiterate that
Ms. YI-CHIEH LAI has no carnal knowledge of this matter. I hereby promise that this
mistake/offense would not happen again.
Trusting this manifestation would merit your utmost consideration and understanding. I am
Very respectfully yours,
